I was counting up how much of my life I have spent making milk for my little ones. In just a few days, I will have been pumping milk for Benaiah for a whole year! I nursed each of our biological children for 3 + years. That is a total of over 10 years of lactating!!!! I have been making milk for ONE QUARTER OF MY LIFE!!!
Kudos to all of you mamas who are nursing or have nursed!!

You're a rock star! My milk always turned to water at 6months because of a condition I have, so I enjoyed every moment of it I was allowed with all three of my bio kids. You are a genius for pumping for your adopted child. Mother's heart always comes through!
